There’s something about mountain weddings that always feels a little more magical. Think shades of soft moss, eucalyptus, and sea glass greens swirling together in the prettiest palette we’ve seen in a while. Danielle’s elegant bridal look, gorgeous bridal party, and the calm joy that filled the entire day—their Wintergreen Resort wedding was a total dream.

The Charlottesville Wedding Hair and Makeup Artist Team was right there, making sure the beauty matched the magic. We were lucky enough to be part of it, and honestly? We’re still not over it.

Each bridesmaid wore a different shade, giving the whole bridal party a layered, effortless kind of charm. Danielle, our stunning bride, chose a strapless gown that floated with grace, simple yet full of quiet elegance. For her hair, we went with a half-up, half-down style, tying the top back just enough to frame her face while letting those soft curls cascade over her shoulders. It was romantic, easy, and classy!

For her makeup, she wanted to keep it neutral, letting her natural beauty shine through. The soft browns and gentle golds played beautifully against her dusky skin tone, giving her that glowy, camera-ready look that wasn’t overdone—just polished and pretty. The whole look came together with a kind of understated glam that we love creating for our brides.

We also had the absolute pleasure of working with her bridesmaids, who each brought their own vibe to the getting-ready suite. We customized hair and makeup to highlight everyone’s features while keeping it cohesive with the fresh, muted palette of the day.

The backdrop at Wintergreen Resort was mesmerizing; from the mountain views to the peaceful outdoor ceremony space, everything felt just right. TJ and Danielle’s wedding was one of those days we won’t forget anytime soon. It was calm, it was classy, and it reminded us why we love what we do.
