They say that brides glow on their wedding day, and that couldn’t be more true of our bride, Kathy. As for her new husband John, if smiles could light up cities, these two have enough wattage to power New York itself. Kathy + John’s Swan Cove Manor wedding isn’t just filled with love, smiles, and enough laughter to make you giggle at your screen, though. It’s particularly beautiful because it’s close to our hearts here at Charlottesville Makeup Artists as Kathy is our founder Anne’s sister.
Of course, that means we had to be part of this pair’s big day, and it was one for the books. Kathy looked lovely in her boho BHLDN gown, and her long tresses trailed down her back in a waterfall of curls. As for her makeup, we kept her look natural because that mega-watt smile was the real star.
After Kathy was ready, she and John shared a sweet waterfront first look that was basically magical (No, really, see it for yourself). Afterward, the pair said their vows in an open air ceremony under a beautiful canopy of trees, and what’s a wedding without a celebration? Sweet succulent accents, burlap runners, white linens, and neutral hues gave this boho affair a natural touch that was perfect for the al fresco setting.
