Kate and Cody’s glamorous Spring wedding at Keswick Hall has left us breathless. Everything from the rehearsal dinner to the ceremony at the University of Virginia Chapel and the magical reception under the stars at Keswick Hall was perfect in every way. Planned by Donovan-Groves Events and photographed by Jen Fariello — we couldn’t have asked for a better team!

Kate’s classic up-do with her cathedral veil is one of our favorite bridal looks, and her makeup gave her a dewey glow that was perfect for her springtime wedding day. Her bridal party was also stunning wearing pale blue dresses with their hair pulled back and classic makeup.

Kayla and Steven’s Stunning Restoration Hall Wedding was one of our favorites! Despite rain throughout their wedding day, this lovely couple stayed positive, looked gorgeous and had the time of their lives celebrating!

The Charlottesville Makeup Artist team loved working to create a twist (literally!) on the classic up-do for Kayla and her bridesmaids. Braids and twists are some of our favorite details for hairstyles and an easy way to take things up a knotch. Alexandra’s Fall Bridal Hair and Makeup at Keswick Hall

Alexandra and Dan’s wedding at Keswick Hall was one of our favorite weddings to date! The elegant day was filled with beauty and lot’s of fun — including a sparkler exit that ended with the bride and groom jumping into the swimming pool! How’s that for an exciting way to end your day?

We created a gorgeous fall bridal hair and makeup look for Alexandra using soft pinks and blush hues to match the other details of her wedding. She finished off her hair with a classic jeweled headband that perfectly accented her dress and completed her look. After all, it’s all in the details!

Charlottesville Makeup Artists Favorite Bridal Hairstyles with Monica D

When it comes to Charlottesville Makeup Artist‘s favorite bridal hairstyles, we love finding the perfect balance between fashion and function — a look that is graceful and romantic but can withstand lots of dancing (trust us, our brides like to dance)! We had the pleasure of achieving this balance for our bride, Monica, and her bridesmaids on her wedding day at Early Mountain Vineyards.

For Monica’s hair, we gave her a low bun with curls and a side swoop with a little bit of volume to frame her face. The whole look was finished with a veil and jeweled clip. Her makeup was inspired by her vibrant green eyes so we used green and gold hues and earth-tone eyeshadows to make them “pop”. For the bridesmaids we also used a natural color palette and created a full range of hairstyles that put our creativity to the test! We are so grateful for the incredible team we have at Charlottesville Makeup Artist that make wedding hair and makeup for a full bridal party a breeze! Lindsay and her bridesmaids began the day at Keswick Hall with our amazing team of talented hair and makeup artists. Together we worked hard to create looks that honored each individual’s natural beauty– inside and out! To do so, we used a soft, feminine color palette, allowed natural curls to remain curly and made sure to accentuate the bride’s electric green eyes. We are excited to share our artistry through these gorgeous images captured by Jen Fariello! Special thanks to Adam of Donovan-Groves Events and Kelsey of Keswick Hall for making sure everything ran smoothly throughout the day!
