Rachel + Nick’s Summer King Family Vineyards Wedding

If winter weather is getting you down, we have a dose of summer on the blog for you today. Rachel + Nick’s summer King Family Vineyards wedding is the perfect way to remember that flowers will bloom again, the sun will shine, and a couple in love is always in season. Rachel + Nick’s big day was as romantic as they come. From Rachel’s gorgeous smile to she and Nick’s sweet first look, this pair was basically glowing on their wedding day, and we were so happy to be a small part of it.

Of course, if we’re going to talk about a glow, we have to talk about our glowing bride. For Rachel, it was all about her wonderful smile and those beautiful eyes. We made sure that her eyes were the focal point of her look, defining them with liner and lashes. For her lips, we kept the color neutral so that her eyes stood out even more. Finally, for her hair, we swept it into a half-up, half-down style with romantic curls framing her face. The result? A glowing bride we just couldn’t get enough of.

We were so happy to help Rachel feel beautiful during her summer King Family Vineyards wedding and can’t wait to share some of our favorite moments with you.

Katie + Johnny’s Soft + Romantic Keswick Vineyards Wedding

An al fresco ceremony, soft florals, and a romantic fountain-front vow exchange? Yes, it’s safe to say that Katie + Johnny’s soft, romantic Keswick Vineyards wedding is going down as one of our all time favorites. Captured brilliantly by Ward Photography, this couple’s big day was filled with lovely moments, and we’re so excited to share some of our favorites.

While the entire wedding day was a dream, Katie was, of course, our dream girl. For her wedding, we made sure to keep her look in line with the rest of wedding so romance was key. We pulled her long, dark locks back into a half-up, half-down updo with soft curls cascading down her back. For her makeup, a natural but defined look was key. We wanted to enhance her already beautiful features but keep things simple. The result was a soft look perfect for her romantic day.

We loved everything about Katie + Johnny’s Keswick Vineyards big day, and we can’t wait for you to see it in all of its lovely glory.

Lesya + Pat’s Rustic Meets Romantic Mount Ida Farm Wedding

What do you get when you mix the rustic with the romantic? A perfect wedding, that’s what. Lesya + Pat’s Mount Ida Farm wedding is the perfect way to incorporate all the charm of a farm with all the romance of a villa. From the wine and gold palette with soft pink accents to the smiles of the bride and groom, this big day was one for the books.

For Lesya’s bridal look, we kept her hair romantic and in line with the style of the entire day. We worked soft waves into her dark locks and swept back a bit from her face to allow it to shine. For her makeup, we made sure that Lesya’s eyes were the focus. With brown tones, we kept her lash line smoky. Overall, the look was soft and glowing and perfect for a bride.

Lesya’s beauty mixed with she and Pat’s clear love for one another made this bride one that we’ll never forget. From the gorgeous reception to the sweet first look, and romantic al fresco ceremony, it had everything you could want in a classic Charlottesville wedding.

Lucie + Nick’s Classic Mount Ida Farm Wedding

There’s something about a fresh, white palette and classic florals that will always make hearts aflutter. That’s certainly the case with Lucie + Nick’s classic Mount Ida Farm wedding. This beautiful couple’s rustic meets classic feté was filled with sweet, intimate moments, stunning details, and southern tradition (hello, buried bourbon).

For her wedding day, Lucie looked absolutely breathtaking in her lace gown. We kept her hair soft and romantic in a half up, half down style with a jeweled clasp holding back her dark locks. As for her makeup, the eyes have it. We subtly smoked out her outer corner but kept her lid bright to keep her eyes looking bright and awake. With a smokier eye look, we chose to keep her lips sweet and subtle with a bit of pink gloss.

Lucie shone throughout her big day as she and Nick said their vows and celebrated with friends. From the classic tradition of burying the bourbon to a romantic, al fresco ceremony, and classic reception, this pair’s Mount Ida Farm wedding was one for the books.
