We can’t think of a better way to kick off spring than by sharing Megan and Michael’s romantic Veritas Vineyard wedding! After you see the stunning details, including flowers by Foxtail Cottage Floral, matching bridesmaid robes, and a stunning teal paper suite, we think you’ll have to agree!

We had a wonderful time creating the perfect wedding day look for our bride. Megan is the definition of “classic beauty” and we loved giving her the perfect hair and makeup to bring our her lovely natural features (Don’t you just love the braided up-do!?).

Valerie and Alex’s beautiful Virginia Boar’s Head Inn wedding has kept us looking ahead to all of the lovely florals (like the ones seen in this post from Blue Ridge Floral) and pink color palettes that come with the season.

Megan and Rick’s Vineyard Wedding at Veritas Winery goes to show that rain on your wedding day can add a little something extra special! Not even stormy skies could keep this couple from enjoying their big day — in fact they chose to embrace the rain, and with the help of the talented Aaron Watson Photography, captured some of our favorite photos to date.

We loved giving Megan a fresh look with wedding makeup that brought out her lovely eyes and stunning smile. Her look was classic and we made sure she was ready to withstand the best of parties and lots of dancing!

Best Fall Wedding Makeup and Hairstyles | Michelle’s Big Day at UVA Chapel

The leaves are changing and fall is in full swing! At Charlottesville Makeup Artist we love how this time of year inspires rich color palettes to use for fall wedding makeup and hairstyles. Our gorgeous bride Michelle’s recent wedding photographed by Jason Jarvis Photography at the University of Virginia Chapel and Veritas Winery is the perfect example. We spent the day creating lovely and individualized looks for a diverse bridal party and couldn’t be happier with the results. Michelle wanted a natural look and had this to say after the wedding:

“I received so many compliments on how I looked and how surprisingly natural I looked (them also knowing that I don’t wear make up ever). My bridesmaids love how they looked and how laid back the morning was. It was truly a remarkable day. You guys made me feel beautiful and for that I am forever grateful.” – Michelle

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves and were so thrilled to be a part of such a special day!
