Leaves of Love: Kacy and Matt’s Fall Wedding in Charlottesville

It’s not every day that one of your brides gets married in a fairytale forest, but that’s exactly what happened with Kacy + Matt’s outdoor fall Charlottesville wedding. The pair opted to tie the knot in the gorgeous acreage behind Kacy’s parent’s home, and with the autumn leaves and warm hues of this big day, nothing could have been more perfect. Except for Kacy, of course.

Kacy’s wedding day was a classic big day, and we decided to keep her bridal makeup in line with the nature of the wedding. We kept her skin natural but enhanced her features using a soft glow and blushing cheeks. For her eyes, we decided to define them with a smoky outer corner and stunning lashes. At the end of the day, Kacy’s wedding makeup was flawless, but with Kacy, that wasn’t hard to achieve.

We were so happy to join Kacy for her wedding day. Here are some of our favorite moments from this gorgeous, outdoor fall Charlottesville wedding.

A Stunning Bridal Styled Shoot of Sorbello Couture | James Monroe Highland

When it comes to us, nothing is better than a bride. That’s why we were so excited to work with a wonderful team of vendors to craft a Sorbello Couture bridal-styled shoot. This stunning, al fresco shoot features some of the most gorgeous gowns from Charlottesville-based designer Sorbello Couture. From a-line silhouettes to romantic lace, seeing this gowns was a total dream. Thankfully, we got to give these beautiful models hair + makeup that was just as gorgeous as their gowns.

For the shoot, we experimented with a few different looks including a diffused and smoky pink-hued eye look, some classic and neutral bridal makeup, and a bold lip. Our creative juices were certainly flowing as we worked on each of the gorgeous women involved in the shoot.

We adored being able to help craft these gorgeous images in any way, and we can’t wait for you to see some of our favorite shots from Jason Keefer Photography.

Stacy + Peter’s Wedding in Bright Summer at Guildford Farm

Summertime, gorgeous farm grounds, and a sweet couple? Yes, we’re smitten with Stacy + Peter’s Guildford Farm wedding. This couple’s outdoor wedding was filled with soft hues, sunshine, and all the love you could imagine. We’re so glad that we were able to be a small part of Stacy’s big day.

For Stacy’s big day, we decided to embrace everything about summer. For us, this meant glowing skin and a bronze look. We emphasized Stacy’s eyes with natural tones and a bit of eyeliner and kept her skin flawless but natural. For her hair, with the summer sun out, we swept it up in a romantic, low updo.

We adored being part of Stacy + Peter’s Guildford Farm wedding and are so excited to show you some of our favorite moments.

Rustic Romantic Wedding of Taylor+Cody at Ramsay Estate

We’re not sure if brides get more beautiful than Taylor, and she and Cody’s Ramsay Estate wedding may just be the epitome of springtime love. From the soft color palette to the romantic florals and al fresco celebration, everything about this big day had us swooning, and we’re so excited to share it with you.

For Taylor’s big day, we wanted to keep her looking all about the romance. We swept her hair back into a low and loose updo with soft curls. For her bridal makeup, we let her natural beauty shine. We defined her eyes with neutral hues and kept her lips looking nude. Of course, we made her complexion glow and gave her a bit of a flush.

Elegant Wedding Of Martha And Omar | Farmington Country Club

Sometimes, classic is best, and Martha + Omar’s Farmington Country Club wedding is the epitome of black-tie elegance. From the classic color palette to the gorgeous al fresco vows, this has to be one of our favorite big days of all time, and we can’t wait to show you some of our favorite moments.

For Martha’s wedding day makeup, we wanted to keep her look fresh, and natural but still defined. We added a definition along her lash line and kept the palette neutral to emphasize her natural beauty. As for her lip color, we wanted just a flush of color that wasn’t too overpowering. Of course, we kept her skin glowing for that fresh bridal look.

Martha + Omar’s classic country club wedding was an absolute dream, and we’re so happy to have been a part of their big day. Check out some of our favorite moments captured by Clark Brewer below.
