Hayley + Sam’s Verulam Farm Wedding

While winter may be ramping up, we at Charlottesville Makeup Artist LLC are still living in fall thanks to all of the stunning weddings we were part of. Hayley + Sam’s Verulam Farm wedding was one fall wedding we just couldn’t help but share. From Hayley’s smile that could light up a room to this couple’s sweet first look, we are so happy that we got to be part of this pair’s bid day.

Of course, while every moment of this Verulam Farm wedding was beautiful, it was Hayley who we couldn’t take our eyes off of. For her makeup look, we decided to give our bride a slightly smoky outer corner to play up her beautiful natural, almond eye shape and kept the rest of her look neutral and soft. As for her hair, Hayley’s bridal updo is one of our favorites. The intricate lacing in the back added a modern dimension and texture to the classic style, and we left soft pieces to fall around her face for a romantic touch.

We’re still staring at these gorgeous moments from Hayley + Sam’s wedding day and hope you enjoy seeing their love as much as we did.

Lucie + Nick’s Classic Mount Ida Farm Wedding

There’s something about a fresh, white palette and classic florals that will always make hearts aflutter. That’s certainly the case with Lucie + Nick’s classic Mount Ida Farm wedding. This beautiful couple’s rustic meets classic feté was filled with sweet, intimate moments, stunning details, and southern tradition (hello, buried bourbon).

For her wedding day, Lucie looked absolutely breathtaking in her lace gown. We kept her hair soft and romantic in a half up, half down style with a jeweled clasp holding back her dark locks. As for her makeup, the eyes have it. We subtly smoked out her outer corner but kept her lid bright to keep her eyes looking bright and awake. With a smokier eye look, we chose to keep her lips sweet and subtle with a bit of pink gloss.

Lucie shone throughout her big day as she and Nick said their vows and celebrated with friends. From the classic tradition of burying the bourbon to a romantic, al fresco ceremony, and classic reception, this pair’s Mount Ida Farm wedding was one for the books.

Abby and Justin’s Keswick Hall Wedding in Charlottesville, Virginia

Being a part of the early stages of a wedding day is always very special and we are honored to spend time with the bride and her loved ones. It was such a privilege to be with Abby and her bridesmaids as they prepared for her and Justin’s Keswick Hall Wedding in Charlottesville, Virginia. We couldn’t have been more thrilled with the bride’s choice to keep her hair long with soft curls, and her makeup natural and fresh! The entire day was full of beauty, love and joyful celebration as this happy couple tied the knot!
