Diana + Jon’s The Seclusion Wedding

Soft, romantic pinks, glowing smiles, and a stunning venue all come together perfectly in Diana + Jon’s The Seclusion wedding. This big day featured a stunning mountain-view ceremony outdoors, a rustic meets romantic vibe, and of course, a couple whose love for one another radiated off them. Of course, though, our favorite part of this wedding was Diana.

Romance was key to Diana’s bridal look. We kept most of her hair down and in loose, waves with piece framing her face. Strands were then pulled back away from her face in a half-up, half-down style. For her makeup, we wanted to keep things natural but defined. Using neutral shades, we defined her eyes and played up her lashes. Her skin was natural and flushed, and for her lips, we used a soft, peachy-pink.

We’re so glad that we were able to be part of Diana + Jon’s The Seclusion wedding and hope you enjoy seeing this big day as much as we loved being part of it.

Hayley + Sam’s Verulam Farm Wedding

While winter may be ramping up, we at Charlottesville Makeup Artist LLC are still living in fall thanks to all of the stunning weddings we were part of. Hayley + Sam’s Verulam Farm wedding was one fall wedding we just couldn’t help but share. From Hayley’s smile that could light up a room to this couple’s sweet first look, we are so happy that we got to be part of this pair’s bid day.

Of course, while every moment of this Verulam Farm wedding was beautiful, it was Hayley who we couldn’t take our eyes off of. For her makeup look, we decided to give our bride a slightly smoky outer corner to play up her beautiful natural, almond eye shape and kept the rest of her look neutral and soft. As for her hair, Hayley’s bridal updo is one of our favorites. The intricate lacing in the back added a modern dimension and texture to the classic style, and we left soft pieces to fall around her face for a romantic touch.

We’re still staring at these gorgeous moments from Hayley + Sam’s wedding day and hope you enjoy seeing their love as much as we did.

Roni + Matt’s Soft Summer Wedding at Castle Hill Cider

Cool shades of sky blue, bright summer sun, and our beautiful bride? Sounds like the perfect soft, summer wedding to us. With Castle Hill Cider as the backdrop, this big day was easily one of our favorites from the past year.

While, obviously, the entire wedding was a delight, it’s our bride Roni who we can’t stop gushing about. Given the light and airy nature of this soft summer wedding, we decided to keep Roni’s makeup natural and bright like the day itself. To keep things romantic, we used soft mauve tones on her lid that brought out her stunning brown eyes, and we keep her lips sheer but tinted with a pink hue thanks to a bit of gloss. As for her skin, we wanted it to reflect the summer weather and went with a glowy look with a flushed cheek.

Finally, we left Roni’s hair down for a fresh look. We added a soft barrel curl through her dark locks and parted it down the middle for a look that framed her beautiful face.

Roni + Matt’s summer wedding was definitely one for the books, and we’re so excited to show you some of our favorite moments.

Liz & Tyler’s Romantic Summer Pippin Hill Wedding

Classic color schemes, greenery, and a romantic summer setting? Yes, we’re totally smitten with Liz & Tyler’s romantic summertime Pippin Hill wedding. This unique blend of classic wedding design elements and romantic details had us feeling like we were living in a summer fairy tale.

Of course, while there were so many gorgeous elements of this big day, Liz was the absolute best part. Her stunning smile and bridal glow were unmatched, and we’re so glad we got to be part of making her feel even more beautiful than she already is naturally. For her hair, we wanted to keep things romantic, so we swept her blonde locks back in a half-up, half-down knot with tendrils falling around her face. With Liz’s makeup, we went defined but classic. Her eyes are so stunning, so we played them up with lashes and liner and kept the rest of her face glowing and natural.

We adored being part of Liz & Tyler’s romantic summer Pippin Hill wedding. Here are some of our favorite moments from the day for you.

Sally Kay & Luke’s Autumn Pippin Hill Wedding

Sometimes, there are weddings that simply take your breathe away. Sally Kay & Luke’s autumn Pippin Hill wedding was one of them. From the gorgeous al fresco ceremony to the romantic reception to this couple’s pure love for one another, this pair’s wedding goes down in our books for sure.

For Sally Kay’s wedding look, we wanted to keep things romantic and just a bit smoky to fit with the autumnal, evening timing of the big day. With a bit more dramatic of an eye look, we made sure to keep her lips and cheeks neutral but flushed. We also love Sally Kay’s gorgeous red-hued hair, and we wanted to showcase it. We kept it down, but swept to the side for an elegant touch and finished things off with soft curls.

Being part of this pair’s wedding day felt like a dream. We’re so excited to show you some of our favorite moments from this fall wedding.
