Picture this; a summertime wedding day vibe in June, that’s chic, organic, and all about those earthy feels. Well, it’s all about the natural-themed wedding of Cara and Keenan, held at Half Moon Garden on the property of The Market at Grelen.

Simplicity was the name of the game! hence the couple’s lovely summertime wedding was rustic, naturally Eco-friendly, and just plain awesome.

It was a glorious June day; so the garden venue for this summertime wedding was just swoon-worthy. From the classy black and white attire to natural-themed decoration, we loved every detail of the ceremony. But beautiful bride Cara was undeniably the star of the day.

Undoubtedly, Cara made for a stunning bride! For her wedding makeup hues, she opted for earthy tones that complimented the garden venue and Cara’s fair complexion. Therefore, we used warm brown and taupe shades for her bridal eye shadow look, highlighting her beautiful natural features for her wedding makeup. Meanwhile, a touch of shimmering champagne highlighter on the brow bones and inner corners made her eyes sparkle. We would describe her wedding makeup look as simple glamour with a more natural makeup feel.

So, with neutral, nude shades for her lips, Cara looked a radiant gorgeous bride blessed with a natural beat! and that was simply elegant and very beautiful. The nice thing about this wedding makeup lip look for her is it was photographed so beautifully and it did not require her to touch up her lips constantly.

Our team was so in love with the Bride’s luscious hair! The Charlottesville Makeup Artist LLC on-site wedding hair and makeup team meticulously styled her stunning auburn hair and tied it in perfect classic curls. It turned out to be the best choice for her overall bridal look. While clutching the beautiful bouquet, ready to flaunt her first look to her dapper groom Keenan, she was looking absolutely gorgeous, confident, and happy.

Indeed, Keenan was quite dashing in his suit as he awaited his bride under the leaves. The two exchanged heartfelt vows surrounded by nature’s splendor before sealing their union with a kiss and exiting down the blue sky arm in arm toward their new life together.

We were so happy to be a part of their unique beautiful wedding. So, sharing here, a few insta-worthy moments of their summertime wedding with you.

Katie and Ryan’s classic autumn wedding in fall is everything we love about what we do. With a joyous bride and groom surrounded by friends and family, how could we not have been smitten with this big day? From their stunning outdoor vows to the beautiful indoor reception and the warm color palette, we can’t wait to show you some of our favorite moments.

Of course, Katie was the star for us. For her wedding, Katie chose a classic bridal look. So, we swept her hair back from her face to show off her natural beauty but kept some romantic details in the back of the updo. For her makeup, it was all about defining her already stunning features. We kept her lip and eye colors neutral and added a bit of a flush to her cheeks for the bridal glow.

What can we say? Here at Charlottesville Makeup Artist, LLC, we’re suckers for a classic wedding! And Carina + Matt’s spring James Monroe’s Highland wedding is just that. From the sweet church ceremony to the stunning reception, we’re totally smitten with both this couple and their beautiful big day.

For us, Carina + Matt’s wedding combined the best of all worlds. Their classic ceremony was flawless, and for their reception, they chose to go al fresco and romantic. From the ethereal violet hues to the gorgeous and soft florals, it was as if a garden had come to life for their big day.

Because of just how romantic their affair was, we decided to keep Carina’s wedding hair and bridal makeup classic. We pulled her blonde locks back into a low up-do but kept a bit of volume for a relaxed feel. For her makeup, it was all about Carina’s natural beauty. With a glowing complexion, defined eyes, and a neutral lip, she was the epitome of a perfect bride.

A rainy evening at Trump Winery, sprinkling love! What a dreamy wedding it was…

Like every couple, Morgan and Grady always dreamed of a magical wedding, an unforgettable one! As fate would have it, their dreamy wedding day arrived on a rainy afternoon. At the enchanting Trump Winery, where mild rain created an atmosphere of romance that seemed straight out of a fairy tale.

The Trump Winery was shrouded in a gentle mist, giving the entire scene an ethereal quality. Raindrops glistened on the leaves, and the scent of earth and grapes hung in the air, which was adding to the overall enchantment of the day. The floral work by Blue Ridge Floral Designs was beautiful. The overall atmosphere was spectacular!

And Morgan! Our radiant bride looked like a vision of beauty. The Charlottesville Makeup Artist LLC Team carefully brought out the Bride’s inner beauty. We enhanced her natural features while embracing the romantic theme of the day.

For her bridal makeup, we focused on expertly blending soft hues to complement her warm complexion while doing her makeup. A perfect layer of foundation provided a flawless canvas for her look and additionally gave her skin a radiant glow that mimicked the gentle raindrops outside. Morgan was more of a minimalist and wanted more of a natural, effortless bridal look over a glam makeup look. Going for this modern minimalistic glam look suited the Bride’s personality. Morgan was such a pleasure to work with. So easy going, with this bride, less was more!

Her lips were pièce de résistance, which we adorned with a delicate shade of rosy pink that perfectly matched the blush on her cheeks. For her bridal look, we styled Morgan’s hair in loose, cascading waves that framed her face. Her choice in bridal hairstyle gave her a timeless, effortless beauty. For her bridal hairstyle, we also kept it minimal. She wanted her her down with curls. Getting to know her personality, this really matched her style so beautifully. Her wedding hair also complimented her bridal makeup very well.

Love and awe shone in Grady’s eyes as he watched her approach. At Trump Winery, Morgan and Grady enjoyed a wonderful wedding day.

Emily + Matthew’s Romantic Early Mountain Vineyards Wedding

Romance, a rustic winery setting, and an adorable pup: could a wedding get any better? Emily + Matthew’s Early Mountain Vineyards wedding had everything you could want from a big day. With romantic florals, stunning acreage, and one exceedingly cute dog, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

For Emily + Matthew’s wedding, we kept Emily’s makeup natural but sophisticated. With smudged liner and gorgeous lashes bringing out her beautiful eyes and a neutral lip, her natural beauty shone through during her big day. As for her hair, Emily’s strapless gown was perfectly accented by tresses pulled away from her face and shoulders in a classic up-do.

After getting ready, Emily went to meet her groom for the couple’s first look. On the stunning verdant grounds of Early Mountain Vineyards, the pair saw one another for the first time on their wedding day, and it was enough to bring tears to our eyes.

However, it was only the beginning of the day. The pair said their vows in front of family and friends, surrounded by love before going to their romantic reception. Complete with lush florals and stunning chandelier, the pair celebrated and danced the night away.
