Gentle Peaks of Love: Alex & Stephanie’s Soft Romantic Early Mountain Vineyard Wedding

When classic meets romantic, everyone wins. Stephanie + Alex’s soft romantic wedding at Early Mountain Vineyards was exactly that. From the gorgeous bride to the sweet first dance, we’re absolutely smitten with this affair. And obviously, we can’t wait to show you some of our favorite moments.

For our part of the big day, we obviously focused on Stephanie and her gorgeous bridal beauty. Because the wedding was a more classic affair, we decided to do the same with Stephanie’s hair and sweep it back from her face in an updo. We did, however, keep things loose to add a bit of romance for her vineyard reception. For her makeup, we defined her eyes with a slight flick of eyeliner and added a glow to her complexion. Truthfully, however, Stephanie could have worn no makeup and been just as beautiful.

We were thrilled to be part of Stephanie + Alec’s big day, and we hope you enjoy this look into their soft romantic wedding as we enjoyed being there.

Sipping Love: Lori and Matt’s Baboursville Vineyard Wedding Bliss

Stunning ruins, gorgeous green vineyard hills, and a sweet bride? Yes, Lori + Matt’s romantic Barboursville Vineyard wedding may just be one of our new favorites. From the incredible vows in front of the ruins to the ultra-fun reception, we were so excited to be part of this couple’s big day. Of course, we have to talk about our bride Lori. Working with this bride was a dream come true, and we’re so happy she chose us for her special day.

We swept Lori’s hair away from her face but kept it loose and romantic with a curled up-do that rested low. For her makeup, we decided to embrace the vineyard location and gave her lips a little pop of a berry color. A warmer toned shadow for her eyes worked wonder. And we further defined them with liner and lashes.

Being part of Lori + Matt’s wedding day was a treat, and we’re so excited to show you some of our favorite moments for their Barboursville Vineyard wedding.

If you love rustic and natural weddings, you’ll love Jillian + JD’s rustic Camp Friendship wedding. With wildflower bouquets, boho beauty, and a lovely outdoor ceremony in the woods, it’s a dream for nature lovers. While everything about this big day was perfect, our bride Jillian had to be the best part.

Jillian’s wedding obviously embraced all things about nature! So, we wanted to make sure her makeup and hair reflected that. We kept her makeup look defined but soft to enhance her beautiful features. For her hair, we went for a more boho look with a braid detail, and her long brunette hair swept to the side.

We loved being part of Jillian + JD’s rustic Camp Friendship wedding, and we’re so excited to share a few of our favorite moments with you.

James Monroe’s Highland Wedding | Classic Ceremony of Carina and Matt’s Love

What can we say? Here at Charlottesville Makeup Artist, LLC, we’re suckers for a classic wedding! And Carina + Matt’s spring James Monroe’s Highland wedding is just that. From the sweet church ceremony to the stunning reception, we’re totally smitten with both this couple and their beautiful big day.

For us, Carina + Matt’s wedding combined the best of all worlds. Their classic ceremony was flawless, and for their reception, they chose to go al fresco and romantic. From the ethereal violet hues to the gorgeous and soft florals, it was as if a garden had come to life for their big day.

Because of just how romantic their affair was, we decided to keep Carina’s wedding hair and bridal makeup classic. We pulled her blonde locks back into a low up-do but kept a bit of volume for a relaxed feel. For her makeup, it was all about Carina’s natural beauty. With a glowing complexion, defined eyes, and a neutral lip, she was the epitome of a perfect bride.

A Stunning Bridal Styled Shoot of Sorbello Couture | James Monroe Highland

When it comes to us, nothing is better than a bride. That’s why we were so excited to work with a wonderful team of vendors to craft a Sorbello Couture bridal-styled shoot. This stunning, al fresco shoot features some of the most gorgeous gowns from Charlottesville-based designer Sorbello Couture. From a-line silhouettes to romantic lace, seeing this gowns was a total dream. Thankfully, we got to give these beautiful models hair + makeup that was just as gorgeous as their gowns.

For the shoot, we experimented with a few different looks including a diffused and smoky pink-hued eye look, some classic and neutral bridal makeup, and a bold lip. Our creative juices were certainly flowing as we worked on each of the gorgeous women involved in the shoot.

We adored being able to help craft these gorgeous images in any way, and we can’t wait for you to see some of our favorite shots from Jason Keefer Photography.
